The Mission of St. Mary of Mount Carmel’s religious education and youth ministry is to guide all young people to become an active community of disciples while on their journey to heaven.

Here is a general list of the classes and meeting times this year:
- Grades 1-5, NOT First Communion Preparation: Root from Faith and Family Life Catholic Ministries (FFLCM). Parents and children come about one Sunday a month, 6-7:30 p.m. and use a provided box of materials to pray and learn about the Creed together.
- First Reconciliation / Communion Preparation: Mend and Nourish (FFLCM). Parents and children come about one Sunday a month (bilingual Spanish), 6-7:30 p.m. and use provided boxes of materials to pray and learn about these sacraments together.
- Grades 6-8 and 9-10, girls, teen Bible studies through Walking with Purpose, every Wednesday evening, 7-8:30 p.m.
- Grades 6-8 and 9-10 boys, study about the Creed, prayer, and the sacraments, every Wednesday evening, 7-8:30 p.m.
- Confirmation (grade 11 or higher): Chosen through Ascension Press, every Wednesday evening, 7-8:30 p.m.
- Adult Sacrament Preparation (OCIA), Tuesdays 7:45-9 p.m.
